United Cerebral Palsy Associations Inc is seeking a dedicated individual to provide independent living skills training on a one-on-one basis under the supervision of the Program Manager. The role involves assisting participants in daily living activities, mobility, communication, and community integration.
Responsibilities include developing training plans, documenting services, participating in staff meetings, and ensuring safety through adherence to First Aid/ CPR and California licensing
Under general supervision of the Program Manger is responsible for independent living skills training on a one-on-one basis.
High school diploma or GED with a preference give to persons who have experience working in day or residential programs serving persons with disabilities.
Must possess ability to read, write and understand English. Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor.
Knowledge and ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Must have working knowledge of personal computers. (Highly desirable)
Must possess a valid CDL and have clean driving record as well as operate a vehicle in good working order for employee transportation. Must have proof of ongoing auto insurance on personal vehicle.
