Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years proven experience in custom woodworking or millwork fabrication.
• Proficiency in operating standard woodworking machinery and using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong craftsmanship with the ability to produce precise, consistent, and visually appealing finished products.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, measurements, and project specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and maintain quality and accuracy.
• Understanding of wood species, grain characteristics, and material selection for custom millwork.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate high-quality custom cabinets, furniture, and architectural wood components per project specs.
• Read blueprints and shop drawings to ensure correct measurements and fit.
• Safely operate table saws, planers, jointers, and other woodworking equipment.
• Refine surfaces, fit components, and apply finishes as required.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy, fit, finish, and craftsmanship.
• Identify and resolve fabrication challenges and material inconsistencies.
• Select and prepare appropriate wood materials based on project requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
