Job summary

Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team. The Welder fabricates metal components and assemblies, reading drawings, applying welding symbols and tolerances in shop or field settings.

Role involves MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and fabrication on military and commercial equipment, using PPE and following safety standards. A pretest is required and relative welding certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional welding experience with portfolio or samples.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, arc and gas welding and related techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, welding symbols and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication in shop and field environments.
• Read and apply technical drawings, welding symbols, measurements and instructions.
• Repair and modify military and commercial equipment using welding processes.
• Set up components, align, clamp and prepare for welding.
• Inspect welds and finished assemblies for quality and specifications.
