Parkson Corporation is hiring a skilled welder in Trussville, AL. You will join a fabrication team, laying out, aligning, and welding metal components in various positions using aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and accurate data recording.

The position is full-time, with a salary range of $24.00 to $26.00 annually, and comes with health and retirement benefits. Prior welding certification and related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Welding Certification required.
• 2-year degree in manufacturing or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lay out and align parts prior to welding.
• Examine workpieces for defects and ensure conformance to specs.
• Clamp, tack-weld, grind, or bolt components to achieve correct configurations.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Select and install torches and accessories per welding chart specifications.
• Accurately record job and hour data on timesheets daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
