Qualifications

• Two years related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer or tablet skills; hand-held radio.
• Forklift Certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operates a lift truck by driving backwards and twisting to be able to look in the direction of travel.
• Operates a lift truck all shift.
• Performs routine inspections on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refers defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.
• Moves controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transports materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
• Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices to load, unload, transport, and stack material.
• Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures material or products for transport to designated areas.
• Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
