Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Rocky Mount, NC, is offering a machining apprentice program. You will work 1:1 with a mentor to apply and grow your skills in precision manufacturing of components for aerospace.

This role requires enrollment in Nash Community College's Computer-Integrated Machining program, a high school diploma, and hands-on machining experience; you will operate lathes, mills, grinders, read drawings, and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders).

Location: This position is available in Rocky Mount, NC.

The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

The hourly base range for this position is $18-$22/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be a US Person
• Have graduated high school and be enrolled in the Computer-Integrated Machining program at Nash Community College.
• Have hands-on classroom experience in the operation of machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Have basic knowledge of mechanical components and systems.
• Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Have good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
