Thayer Design Build seeks a skilled carpenter to join our residential team in the Corvallis area and the mid-Willamette Valley. You will contribute to framing, finish carpentry, and core site tasks, delivering high-quality spaces for homeowners.

The role emphasizes craftsmanship, reliability, and collaboration with homeowners and subcontractors to maintain safety and timelines on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in residential carpentry.
• Excellent rough and finish carpentry skills.
• Framing experience.
• Solid work history with references.
• Your own carpentry tools.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical work for 8+ hours, including lifting 70+ lbs.
• A positive attitude, integrity, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical carpentry work on assigned residential projects.
• Framing, blocking, and modifying headers.
• Site protection, demolition, and material delivery.
• Interact respectfully with subcontractors, team members, and homeowners.
• Finish carpentry and millwork installation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional job site.
