Job summary

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a hands-on team member for the 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) to produce and package products in a safe, efficient manner. You will follow strict safety and quality processes, support on-time deliveries, and maintain orderly work areas while collaborating with a team in a fast-paced packaging plant.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.

• Assemble, stack, wrap, staple, glue, sticker, and tape boxes as needed.

SHIFTS:

2nd Shift - Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM ($2.00 shift differential)

Summary

Work in a production environment following all safety procedures, quality processes and hitting our targeted build rates.

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.
  
  

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  
  

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
