Job summary

The Villa at Mountain View in Dallas, TX is seeking a Painter to join our housekeeping & maintenance team. The role involves mixing, matching, and applying paint to various surfaces, performing touchups, and drywall repairs including tape and bedding.

You will coordinate and facilitate large painting projects for the facility while ensuring resident safety and quality workmanship. A high school diploma and painting experience are required; experience in long-term care is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Painting experience required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces.
• Complete touchups and drywall repairs to include tape and bedding.
• Apply texture, sand and paint finishes.
• Coordinate and facilitate large painting projects for the facility.
