Velociti Services is seeking a skilled Painter for a Federal Background Check position in Kansas City, MO. You will prepare surfaces, select paints, apply finishes, and ensure a durable result while following instructions and safety rules.

You will work with a team of design and construction specialists to complete projects on schedule. The role requires a trade school diploma or apprenticeship and at least two years of painting experience in residential or commercial spaces.

Qualifications

• Trade school diploma or apprenticeship and high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2+ years of painting experience.
• Experience painting residential or commercial spaces.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Strong planning, listening, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select the correct tools and paints for projects.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces before painting.
• Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and sealants for a lasting finish.
• Cover exposed objects and surfaces.
• Use fillers such as putty and plaster to repair cracks and caulking skills.
• Buy paint, brushes, and other supplies.
• Obey workplace safety rules.
• Collaborate with other design and construction specialists.
• Keep the workspace and tools clean.
