Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care following nursing process and unit policies.
• Assess patients, document findings, and relay changes to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe care environment.
• Document care promptly in the medical record and engage in quality improvement.
