Job summary

Spokane Valley Health and Rehab of Cascadia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to long-term residents in accordance with care plans.

The CNA will work closely with the therapy department to help residents achieve mobility goals and support overall resident well-being within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid CNA license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• 6+ months experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assist resident with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, incontinence care etc.
• Provide support to residents with behavioral health needs.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, fluid intake and output as directed.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises, eating, and mobility/transfers.
