Job summary

Warren Barr South Loop is seeking an Activity Aide to join our friendly team in Chicago, IL. You will help maintain residents’ emotional and social wellbeing by coordinating activities and providing companionship.

Responsibilities include planning events, assisting with scheduling, and accompanying residents on activities outside the facility as needed. Prior Activity Aide experience is preferred; a high school level education is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education or equivalent.
• Experience as an Activity Aide preferred but not required.
• Ability to engage residents and foster social interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist residents in daily activities and events.
• Schedule and help organize movies, parties, games, and crafts.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility as needed.
