Job summary

Inotiv, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for on-site work at our Madison, WI facility. The role covers preventative and on-demand maintenance across buildings and production equipment, with emphasis on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

You will troubleshoot and repair process equipment, participate in health & safety initiatives, and train junior technicians. The position requires strong communication and the ability to work with production teams, with salary

Qualifications

• Three+ years in electrical, HVAC and mechanical industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
• Trade certification in Industrial Mechanic/Millwright or Master Electrician preferred.
• Engineering degree is helpful but not required; progression through hands-on maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to document work.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems to restore equipment availability.
• Repair and replacement of equipment and buildings as needed.
• Train other maintenance technicians and selected production staff in preventive and repair tasks.
• Support health & safety program implementation and compliance.
