Job summary

Extreme Machining in Newark, DE is seeking a skilled MIG Welder with 3+ years of related experience to join our team. You will read engineering blueprints and weld and assemble new metal forms using MIG processes. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm with overtime available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience MIG welding.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to measure with precision.
• Pays attention to detail and performs quality checks throughout the project.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50lb+).

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• MIG weld various metals and use hand tools.
• Calculate material measurements to meet specifications.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
• Assist co-workers when needed and be a team player.
• Perform other reasonable tasks when necessary.
