PeopleReady of LaPorte, IN is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Worker to keep industrial equipment running smoothly and safely on a 1st shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and repair machinery to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, plus the ability to read blueprints and use common tools. On-site position with competitive hourly pay and steady hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a closely related field.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision diagnostic or testing equipment
• Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and stand, bend, or crouch for extended periods
• Background check and drug test required

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What You'll Be Doing as a Skilled Maintenance Worker:
