Job summary

Medical Associates is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of tasks in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and related trades. The ideal candidate has cabinetry and HVACR experience and can work independently on hands-on maintenance projects.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential 4-day weeks, on-call rotation with pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k matching, generous PTO, and voluntary spending accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• HVACR skillset is preferred.
• Cabinetry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and skilled maintenance duties including plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnose repairs.
• Assist with cleaning equipment and snow removal during inclement weather.
• Identify options for routine repairs and complete assigned projects.

As a maintenance worker, you will be performing a variety of tasks and get to work in the fields including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc. The ideal candidate has a specific skill set in cabinetry and HVACR for this open position.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6a-2:30p. Possibility to work 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts as well. On-call rotation every 10-12 weeks with on-call pay!

Essential Duties:

• Perform general and skilled maintenance duties under various titles including maintenance plumber, rough construction, finish carpentry, bio/medical/electronics, maintenance mechanic, maintenance painter, HVAC.
• Perform preventative maintenance and utilize decision making skills for corrective maintenance procedures.
• Assist with other tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning of equipment and removal of snow during inclement weather.
• Identify and evaluate possible options when conducting routine repairs on building and equipment.
• Complete all other assigned projects and duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

From one to three years of similar or related experience preferred. HVACR skillset is a preferred!
