Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance for a variety of properties. You will assist with mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and debris clean-up while following safety guidelines and using commercial equipment.

The role requires the ability to work outdoors in heat and physically handle lifting up to 40 lbs, with training on level 1 equipment. Compensation is hourly with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, trimmer, mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and edge/trims with gas tools.
• Prune shrubs and trees as needed.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along hardscaped areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by picking up debris and mulch leaves.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
