Description:
Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client in Alachua, FL actively looking for Skilled Laborers to be responsible for a variety of manual labor tasks with warehouse activities in a production manufacturing environment. Let's get to work. Temporary with the possibility of a permanent position Alachua, FL.
Schedule: FT, Monday - Friday 7am - 4:30pm
Pay rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities:

1. Check, inspect, examine and count all products being unloaded for quality and quantity
2. Clean and lubricate equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned
3. Assist with the loading and unloading of work and delivery trucks
4. Conduct worksite setup and take-down of equipment, tools and materials
5. Ensure job sites and staging areas are kept safe, clean and organized
6. Use hand tools to perform basic maintenance of equipment
7. Clean dock area as needed
8. Other duties as assigned

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Qualifications:
Skills: Material handling equipment experience preferred
Education: High School
Experience: 1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent such as a GED
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
- 2 year labor experience
- Must be able to work in different positions for a very long period of time and ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
