Job summary

Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Skilled Laborer to support a wastewater treatment plant project in Montrose, CO.

The project involves extensive excavation, concrete, interior piping, and equipment work, and is expected to last 2+ years. You will perform manual labor on water and heavy concrete construction, maintain a clean site, handle materials, and support specialty crews while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Perform good manual dexterity and multilimbed coordination.
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on water and heavy concrete construction projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for paving.
• Maintain a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Perform materials handling and storage.
• Provide labor support as needed for specialty crews
• Load and unload trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Manager or Human Resources
