Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow directions, and a strong safety mindset. Prior construction exposure is a plus, and reliable transportation to Holden, LA is expected.

Responsabilités

Job Overview:Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a skilled laborer to perform various physical tasks supporting construction projects in Holden, LA. This role involves assisting craft workers, operating basic equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized worksite.Job Responsibilities:* Perform general construction labor including shoveling, raking, digging, and lifting materials.* Assist with the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, scaffolding, and forms.* Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.* Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.* Operate hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, and hammers, under supervision.* Assist skilled craft workers (e.g., carpenters, pipefitters, operators) with their tasks.* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Job Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus.* Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.* Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.* Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Holden, LA.Company Overview:Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities such as the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
