As a Skilled Laborer – Pipefitter, you’ll support our pipefitting and mechanical crews by moving materials, preparing work areas, and helping keep projects organized and moving safely. No previous pipefitting experience is required. Bring a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Load, unload, lift, and move pipe, materials, tools, and equipment.

• Help crews prepare and maintain work areas.

• Keep jobsites clean and organized.

• Assist with other labor and trade‑related tasks under direct supervision.

• Follow established procedures and ask questions as you learn the trade.

This is an entry‑level role. Previous trade experience is welcome, but not required.

Safety Comes First

Every RK employee is responsible for working safely and is empowered to stop work when an unsafe condition is present. You’ll be expected to report hazards to your supervisor, follow company policies, and complete required safety training and orientations, including applicable site or shop orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, hazard identification and reporting, and OSHA 10.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on role. You must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including in dusty, noisy, and potentially hazardous areas; work at heights or in tight or confined spaces; climb, balance, squat, kneel, and crouch; and work in varying weather conditions. The position may require lifting and carrying 51–75 pounds occasionally, exerting 31–45 pounds of force frequently, and exerting 16–22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
