Job summary

S&B USA Construction’s Fay location is seeking a Skilled Laborer- Heavy Civil Construction to support erosion control, site preparation, and equipment signaling on major infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely execution on complex worksites.

Ideal candidates will have at least three years in heavy construction labor, the ability to follow detailed plans, and a demonstrated commitment to working as part of a cohesive team in challenging

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain erosion and sediment control measures on construction sites
• Clean and prepare sites; jackhammer; dig trenches; support excavations; clean up rubble and waste materials
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery
• Load, unload machinery, tools, and materials according to project plans
• Assist other craft workers
• Perform other related duties as required
• Help flagging truck movements at sites

Skilled Laborer- Heavy Civil Construction

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Implement and maintain erosion and sediment control measures on construction sites that are prone to erosion.
• Clean and prepare sites, jackhammer, possibly dig trenches, support the of excavations, clean up rubble, debris, and waste materials.
• Signals equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials
• Load, unload, machinery, or tools, and materials, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
• Assist other craft workers
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Help flagging truck movements at sites

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
