Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC is seeking construction laborers to operate outdoors in Augusta, GA area, performing tasks from staking and alignment to concrete work and form preparation. Applicants should be able to lift heavy loads and work long hours in varying weather conditions.

Position involves manual labor around heavy traffic areas with exposure to outdoor elements. Training and safety protocols will be provided according to site requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, crouch or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb on and off of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Measuring distance from grade stakes and setting stakes.
• Bolts, nails, aligns, and blocks up under forms.
• Signals equipment operators to ensure alignment and safety.
• Levels earth or asphalt to grade specifications.
• Mixes concrete and applies caulking compounds.
• Sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing projections, mounting pipe hangers.

Job description

Job Description - This position will be based out of Augusta, GA.

• Measuring distance from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line
• Bolts, nails, aligns, and block up under forms
• Signals operators of construction or asphalt equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications
• Levels earth or asphalt to grade specifications, using picks, shovels and rakes
• Mixes concrete and applies caulking compounds
• Sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing projections from concrete, and mounting pipe hangers

Job Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, crouch or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb on and off of equipment
• Employee works on average ten (10) hours per day, five days (and occasionally six days) per week. All work is performed outdoors in Florida heat and rain; and around heavy highway traffic areas.
