Position: Skilled Laborer
Company: Loenbro - Industrial Services
Location: Moses Lake, WA
Pay: $22/hr. to $26/hr. DOE
Reports To: Journeyman, Foreman, General Foreman

Position Overview:
This position will work under the supervision of a skilled craftsman. The responsibilities will revolve around performing manual work such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical tasks, and other forms of trade. Knowledge in pipefitting, welding, and civil work is recommended. Loenbro is looking for initiative-taking individuals willing to work hard and grow in the position located in Moses Lake, WA.

Job Duties:

• Manually moves work pieces, tools, and supplies, or transports them using a hand truck.
• Adhere to instructions and guidelines with precision.
• Lifts, moves, and holds work pieces into position as directed.
• Maintain current timecard and daily time sheet.
• Perform general cleanup and assist with supply management on the job site.
• Must use PPE properly while on job sites (hard hat, safety glasses, etc.) to adhere to all safety procedures.
• Adhere to all company standards and guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• TWIC Card is required or can be obtained.
• Experience in pipefitting, welding, and civil work recommended.
• Experience with operating heavy machinery (forklifts and man lifts).
• Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.
• Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights of 25ft).
• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time for required tasks.
• Use of respirator if position requires.
• Able to pass preliminary and periodic drug testing.
• Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
• Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures, working outside the majority of the time.
• Work is performed on limited or restricted surfaces.
• Potential or periodic amounts of time for the following:
• Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day.
• Standing.
• Sitting, stooping, crawling, and kneeling.
• If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability are required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
