Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and experienced Skilled Laborer to join our team in 84, PA. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on worker with experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial labor, production, mechanical work, fabrication, or general skilled labor.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable using hand tools and power tools, read and follow instructions, and perform physically demanding work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in skilled labor, construction, manufacturing, production, industrial work, fabrication, or a related field preferred
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to safely handle materials, tools, and equipment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or production environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of skilled and general labor duties to support daily operations
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively
• Assist with moving, handling, loading, unloading, and staging materials
• Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Assist skilled tradespeople, production employees, and other team members as needed
• Follow work instructions, job specifications, and established procedures
• Measure, cut, assemble, prepare, or handle materials as required
• Operate basic machinery and equipment after appropriate training
• Inspect materials and finished work for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment problems, or quality issues
• Work effectively with supervisors and coworkers to complete projects and production goals
• Perform additional labor, production, warehouse, or shop duties as assigned
