Mr. Handyman of North Albuquerque is seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman/Home Repair Professional to perform a wide range of residential and commercial repair and maintenance services.

This multi-skilled role emphasizes quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings, a company vehicle, and a supportive back office to handle scheduling and administration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a handyman, service technician, or multi-skilled trades professional.
• Strong working knowledge of common residential and commercial repair methods.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ownership of professional-grade tools appropriate for a variety of jobs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to complete a background and driving record check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely work at heights or overhead as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of small to medium repair and maintenance tasks including but not limited to carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, and general maintenance.
• Diagnose issues on-site and recommend effective, honest repair solutions.
• Communicate with customers to help them understand the scope of work and manage expectations about cost and timing.
• Create life-long customers. Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.
• Complete work efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company quality standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and office staff.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and vehicles.
• Manage tools, materials, and company equipment responsibly.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
