Job summary

King & George, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings across painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. The role supports the Facility Operations and Maintenance department and requires practical hands-on skills.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related experience, with a preference for those familiar with door hanging, locks, and windowpane replacements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years related experience preferred.
• Experience working in an outdoor or indoor building environment is desirable.
• Experience hanging doors, installing door locks, and replacing broken windowpanes preferred.
• Able to understand verbal or written direction from lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Replaces electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Patches minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings with plaster or compound.
• Repairs or replaces sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Paint structures and equipment.
• Repairs or replaces concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replaces damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hangs doors and installs door locks and replaces broken windowpanes.
• Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
