Qualifications

• Valid Crane Operator license from an accredited institution for an all-terrain crane.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Two years in crane operation.
• Taken and passed OSHA equipment operating courses as required.
• Must be familiar with standard hand signals.

Responsibilities

• Operates a crane to lift, move, and position loads, completing pre-lift checks.
• Plans all lifts using capacity charts and pre-lift sheets.
• Observes load hookup and ensures load safety.
• Controls crane operations to regulate speed and direction.
• Uses hoisting attachments as needed.
• Performs daily crane inspections and maintenance.
• Monitors equipment for hazards and required adjustments.
