Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. (CCI) is seeking a skilled laborer to join our outdoor construction teams. You will perform traffic control, concrete preparation, and guardrail installation under supervision in various sites, with exposure to weather and physical effort, including lifting up to 75 pounds.

We value safety, reliability, and teamwork, and provide training to meet safety standards on every project. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow within our divisions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment such as mini excavators and skid steers.
• Knowledge of traffic control techniques and procedures.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety rules and hazardous traffic environments.
• Understanding of federal and state safety laws and regulations.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain small construction equipment and handheld tools.
• Ability to follow safe work practices and communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships on a crew.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, perform traffic control duties.
• Provide concrete preparation and guardrail installation.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
• Work outdoors at construction sites and facilities in various weather.
