Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter to support project completion through skilled carpentry, measurement, cutting, fitting, and installation of wood and related materials. You will read drawings and work instructions to perform tasks accurately while using hand and power tools safely.

You will collaborate with teammates to maintain productivity and uphold safety and performance standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 2–4 years of carpentry or related field required.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general carpentry work including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood and related materials.
• Reads and interprets drawings or work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operates hand and power tools safely to construct and repair structures or components.
• Inspects completed work for accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
• Communicates with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve challenges.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Follows DPR safety policies and procedures on all assigned work.
