J & J QUALITY CONSTRUCTION INC. in Fresno, CA is seeking a talented Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, work independently or with a crew, and complete projects with accuracy and attention to detail.

A background in both rough and finish carpentry, including door, trim, and cabinet installation, is preferred. Must have reliable transportation and be able to work safely on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in rough and finish carpentry.
• Strong framing and blueprint-reading skills.
• Experience installing doors, trim, and cabinets.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and make precise cuts.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally.
• Ability to lift construction materials and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Must work well independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Personal tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and measurements
• Perform wood framing and general rough carpentry
• Install interior and exterior doors
• Install baseboards, casing, crown molding, and other trim
• Perform finish carpentry with clean, precise results
• Assemble and install cabinets
• Make field adjustments for proper fit and alignment
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow jobsite safety requirements
• Complete work efficiently while meeting company quality standards
