Rio Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Carpenter for a full-time, on-site position in Las Vegas. The role covers framing and finish carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, and installations across the property.

You will read blueprints, fabricate and install carpentry items, and work with signage and artwork as needed. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a 4-year apprenticeship, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a 4 year accredited apprenticeship program; fluent in English.
• Must read blueprints, drawings and sketches; proficient in safe use of hand and power tools.
• Must respond immediately to all emergency situations and calls.
• Must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and build carpentry related items throughout the property.
• Create precise and quality products in compliance with city codes and standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and instructions related to areas needing inspection or repair.
• Handle power tools professionally and safely.
• Able to hang large signage and artwork.
