Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC is seeking adaptable, compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors with daily living activities. Shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, with flexible part-time or full-time options to fit client needs, including 24/7 coverage where required.

You will assist with ambulation, mobility, personal care and hygiene, meal preparation, transportation, and light housekeeping, while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an in-home caregiver preferred.
• Ability to adhere to plans of care and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions.

You will be responsible for an individuals safety and well-being to provide supportive non-clinical care. Schedules may vary from 4 hour shifts and beyond as we do care for some clients 24/7, so scheduling is flexible to either part time, full time, or as available. We are seeking adaptable, compassionate, honest, in-home caregivers to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in home care.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status

Responsibilities

Skills

• One year proven experience as an in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics

Compensation

$15 - $17 per hour
