Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking interns under the DoW SkillBridge program to support major projects in North America. You will gain hands-on experience in engineering design, program management, and project controls while mentored by industry experts.

Ideal candidates have backgrounds in engineering or construction and are pursuing related degrees. This dynamic, civilian career path offers exposure to multiple sectors and a collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, project management, or related fields.
• Prior experience in engineering, project management, construction, or related fields preferred.
• Strong project management, leadership, and technical skills.
• Excellent judgment, organizational ability and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and maintain engineering data (e.g., tests, drawings).
• Assist in preparing design documents and supporting calculations.
• Perform assignments using standard practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Support engineering activities under the guidance of senior staff.
• Produce accurate technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches.
• Continuously develop technical and professional skills.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
