AUTO SERVICE HOUSE LLC is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, and suspension systems. You will bridge routine maintenance with advanced diagnostics and provide guidance to junior technicians.

You will use diagnostic scanners and Tekmetric to document work, perform complex repairs, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced shop environment. A valid driver’s license and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License required; ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Own a basic-to-intermediate set of personal tools; sharing tools is limited.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics using computerized equipment across makes/models.
• Perform skilled repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, air conditioning, and engine/transmission components.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs meet performance and safety standards.
• Document work performed and parts used in Tekmetric shop system.
• Mentor and support Entry-Level technicians and apprentices as needed.
• Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant work area.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven B-Level Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, and suspension. As a Skill B Technician, you bridge the gap between routine maintenance and advanced master-level diagnostics, performing most repairs with little to no supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Diagnostics: Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electronic issues across various vehicle makes and models, foreign and domestic.

• Complex Repairs: Perform skilled repairs on brakes, steering, suspension, air conditioning, and light engine/transmission components.

• Quality Control: Test-drive vehiclesto ensure all repairs meet performance and safety specifications.

• Documentation: Accurately document all work performed and parts used within Tekmetric shop managementsystem.

• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to Entry-Level (C-Class) technicians and apprentices as needed.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:5+ years of professional automotive repair experience (progressing from a General Service/C-level role).

• Technical Knowledge:Minor proficiency with diagnostic scanners and a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems.

• Certifications: Valid Driver's License required; ASE certifications are highly preferred but not required.

• Tools: Must possess and own a basic-to-intermediate set of personal tools. Sharing of tools between technicians is limited

• Efficiency: Proven ability to work independently and maintain high productivity in a fast-paced shop environment.
