Job summary

Solenis is seeking a detail-oriented skid assembler to build modular process systems from engineered blueprints. You will mount sub-assemblies, route piping, install valves, and align components within a fast-paced fabrication shop onsite.

Responsibilities include reading P&IDs and drawings, performing mechanical fabrication, inspecting units to ensure tight tolerances, and maintaining tools and equipment. Onsite work with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency with plumbing, hydraulics, or electrical wiring is preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination for tight, leak-proof connections.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage is essential.
• Able to stand long periods and lift heavy components up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED; technical certificates or associate degrees valued.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and PI&&IDs, mechanical drawings, and isometric schematics.
• Assemble and mount pumps and components to skid bases; drill, tap, bolt, and fasten parts.
• Align system components such as valves, sensors, and agitators.
• Install and route piping spools (stainless steel, PVC) on skid framework.
• Inspect units against specs; ensure tight tolerances and proper alignment.
• Operate forklifts to position heavy components and move skids to test area.
• Route basic conduit and wire electrical control boxes as needed.
• Perform pressure tests and functional checks; ensure safety and quality.
