Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation in Newry, Maine is seeking a Ski Lift Electrician to join Sunday River's Mountain Ops Electrical Team. You will perform preventative and curative maintenance on all ski lifts, read schematics, use electrical meters, and troubleshoot high- and low-voltage systems.

The role requires 3–5 years with detachable and fixed-grip chairlifts, PLC experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience working with detachable and fixed grip chairlifts.
• Experience with high and low voltage control and PLC driven systems.
• Proficiency with industrial controls, including programming and troubleshooting PLCs and digital drives.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation and email.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance functions as required by codes regulating the operation of Aerial Tramways along with those set forth by the manufacturer of the lifts
• Perform adjustments and inspections to lifts
• Rebuild basic and advanced components
