The Skating School Instructor is responsible for providing skating instruction to students following the Learn to Skate USA program.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Report to all scheduled classes and prepare lesson plans prior to class start.
• Follow Learn to Skate Program and Learn to Play Program requirements and formats.
• Keep accurate attendance records for all students.
• Notify supervisor of any accidents and bring students to the first aid room.
• Complete periodic evaluations to ensure proper level assignment.
• Answer parent questions and perform equipment checks as requested.
• Assume additional responsibilities as required.

• Learn to Skate USA membership required.
• Professional Skating Instructor continuing education preferred.

• Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to learn new skills; and be flexible.
