You will lead and mentor CPCs, perform audits, set goals, manage workloads, collaborate with Medical Directors, and develop training programs.

Qualifications

• AAPC coding certification required.
• Minimum 5 years in medical coding or documentation auditing.
• Strong knowledge CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10/CMS 1500/UB04 data elements.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of CPCs with training and guidance.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure coding and documentation standards.
• Set team goals and monitor performance aligned with objectives.
• Direct complex coding reviews and assist with investigations.
• Ensure clear written summaries of findings for investigators and regulators.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors to validate decisions and cases.
• Manage workload distribution and develop staff through training.
