Jacobs seeks an Electric Transmission Siting Professional to support utility clients on transmission projects from planning through permitting and stakeholder engagement. You will contribute to siting studies, coordinate technical teams, and help manage project milestones.
The role involves leading portions of client meetings, coordinating with regulators and landowners, and preparing regulatory exhibits and strategies. Occasional travel is required.

The Electric Transmission Siting Professional will support electric utility clients, developers, and other infrastructure clients on transmission projects throughout planning, routing, siting, permitting, and stakeholder engagement phases. The position will contribute to the successful development of transmission facilities, including overhead and underground lines, substations, interconnections, and related infrastructure. Responsibilities will range from supporting individual technical tasks to leading complete siting workstreams, managing project teams, and providing strategic client guidance. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, environmental, regulatory, real estate, legal, and stakeholder‑engagement disciplines.

The base salary range for this position is $75,300.00 to $117,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
