Job summary

Republic Services, a leader in environmental services, is seeking a dependable Laborer in Minnesota to perform general labor duties at hauling sites, transfer stations, recycling centers or landfills. You will assist with yard clean-up, fuel vehicles and equipment, and operate basic site machinery.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability and teamwork, with responsibilities including track cleaning, traffic direction, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assigned general labor duties at hauling sites, transfer stations, recycling centers or landfills.
• Clean up work areas and perform yard work including mowing and litter pick up.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment and operate general site vehicles and equipment.
• Perform office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial tasks.
• Install temporary wind fences as required and direct traffic at the site when necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
