I Am Boundless in Ohio seeks a Supervising Residential Manager to provide direct programming and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, and to supervise residential staff in the home.
The role includes supervising direct care, coordinating care plans, ensuring safe and compliant operations, and communicating with medical and interdisciplinary teams to support residents.
Thissupervisor personis responsible to the Residential Manager to provide direct programming and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and to supervise residential staff assigned to the individual’s home.

Performs in-home training with the Direct Support Professional andis responsible forrelated household chores (supplements individuals training and incompetency); transports individuals as needed;operatesvehicles safely; ensures the proper ordering and dispensing of medication as ordered by the physician; ensures the implementation of medical treatments as ordered by the physician; attends in-service training programs and staff meetings as scheduled.
Ensures and supervises the safety,healthand well-being of all individuals; ensures preparation of nutritious meals; reports unusual incidents and communicates unusual medical situations asrequested; performs first aid and other nursing procedures as trained and designated; ensures that individual's personal and household possessions aremaintainedand in good repair;maintainshousehold files for compliance with applicable state and federal standards as needed.
Oversees andparticipatesin the provision of direct care; Supervises assigned employees; recommends assignments; transfers, promotions, disciplinaryactionsand other personnel actions; evaluates employee performance; implements and supervises Individual Service Plans with theassistanceof the interdisciplinary team; supervises and implements the service checklist. Ensuresthat documentation of services is thorough and accurate. Coordinates,implementsand insures proper medical treatment as directed by physicians and nursing staff. Maintain the implementation of CQL.
Maintainsaccurateaccounting of resident funds and expenditures; performs in-service training to employees within the home as assigned asidentifiedin the ISP.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent;Associate’s Degreepreferred
Multimedia First Aid, CPR—adult, child & infant; delegatednursing;
valid Ohio Driver’s License – Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
Twoyears experienceworking with developmentally disabled individuals; supervisory experience preferred.
Must be able to communicate in English – including spoken (either face-to-face or overthe phone) and in writing
Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation,communicationsand interpersonal abilities.
Must be able to use tools and equipment asrequired– including pushing/pulling wheelchairs, lifting consumers withhoyerlifts
Willbe responsible foron-call for groups as assigned.
