Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Site Supervisor to safely coordinate activities within the program, inspect areas and equipment, and ensure OSHA/compliance standards are met. You will supervise staff, conduct training, and report on safety and performance metrics from the site location.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and potential forklift certification. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Six months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficient in database, internet, spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, service orientation and time management.
  • Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned.
  • Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommend training and discipline.
  • Prepare and deliver written reports such as pass down, weekly, or monthly.
  • Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections.
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
  • Track supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Monitor use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety.
  • Report issues to manager and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain records such as training, inspections, attendance, and metrics.
  • Familiar with supervisor responsibilities and expectations.
  • Some travel may be required.

Job Overview

Title: Site Supervisor Job Description: Job Overview The Site Supervisor will be responsible for safely coordinating activities within the assigned program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The Individual will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform duties of employees within the program assigned
  • Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate and monitors work activities, recommends training and discipline
  • Written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
  • Track supplies and maintain inventory
  • Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety compliance
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager
  • Correct at risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediately
  • Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
  • Maintain records, i.e., training, inspections, attendance, and metric data
  • Familiar with supervisor responsibilities
  • Some travel may be required for this position
Qualification

  • Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver's license.
  • May be required to be Forklift Certified
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
  • Good written and verbal skills, excellent customer service skills, training abilities, and time management skills
  • Problem solving, presentation, and coaching
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate to customers, contractors, or employees of organization.
  • Use of forklifts and pallet jacks a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Carrying out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.

Schedule and Salary

Wednesday to Saturday 5:45pm to 4:30AM 55,000/year
