Job summary

PlayCore is seeking an experienced General Superintendent/Project Manager in Indiana to plan and supervise construction of artificial turf fields from base construction to turf installation. You will attend pre-construction and progress meetings, witness proof rolls, coordinate with subcontractors, and verify planarity and compaction on site.

Projects last 2–10 weeks with average budgets around $500k. The ideal candidate communicates clearly with multiple trades, leads teams, and delivers

Qualifications

• Proven experience as construction project manager.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with mass grading, concrete work, drainage, soil classification and planarity testing.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Travel to active and upcoming jobsites to evaluate project status.
• Oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• Identify and manage potential project risks.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Verify that specifications, contracts and proposals are aligned with scope and price.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
