Position Title: Site Superintendent - Critical Infrastructure - Austin, TX
Position Location: Austin, TX (This is a full-time, on-site role in the Austin, TX area. Candidates must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.)
The Site Superintendent - Critical Infrastructure - Austin, TX is the primary on-site leader and field execution authority for Smart Tech Contracting on hyperscale and colocation data center construction projects ranging from 40 MW to 200 MW.
This role owns day-to-day site operations, supervising all STC labor, subcontractors, and partner firms while coordinating activities across all trades on site. The Site Superintendent serves as the single point of contact and face of STC to General Contractor superintendents, owner representatives, commissioning authorities, and key trade partners.
The Site Superintendent - Critical Infrastructure - Austin, TX is accountable for safety, schedule, quality, and field coordination across the full lifecycle of construction, installation, startup, and commissioning. This role operates as a peer to GC superintendents and project management leadership, exercising independent authority to direct work, resolve conflicts, and escalation risks as needed to protect schedule, safety, and execution quality.
