Job description
Overview

InCharge Energy is seeking a highly organized Site Superintendent to manage charging electrification rollouts. They will oversee numerous turnkey electrical installations at facilities to enable fleets to convert to electric. The position reports directly to the Director of Project Management. The role requires significant regional travel with a focus on ensuring a timely and customer centered turnkey delivery experience. Key objectives include leading subcontractors to project completion, maintaining safety standards, reporting on progress, and cataloging results.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with the Account Executive to conduct a site assessment, including selection of the relevant sub-contractor
  • Assist the Account Executive with the Customer during the Site Assessment process to properly manage customer expectations (i.e., tentative schedule, typical AHJ/Utility changes, etc.)
  • Perform Site Assessments when possible with the Sub-Contractor and Customer
  • Manage the Site Assessment internal coordination with the Engineering and Estimating Department
Project Delivery and Closeout
  • Oversee all phases of EV Charger installation and commissioning to the highest quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams, subcontractors and ensure compliance with AHJ requirements
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineer and Customer to address any challenges and ensure clear and concise communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assit with any buyout and selection of subcontractors including coordination of any work with subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage field schedules including planning, sequencing and tracking of all project activities with weekly updates.
  • Schedule subcontractors, vendors and on site commissioning to maintain or exceed schedule.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reporting, change orders and other relevant records.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities with work being performed
  • Ensure highest safety standards are being upheld in field, including review of daily JHAs, tool box talks and other.
  • Daily site walks to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
  • Ensure project site is always kept in a clean and orderly fashion that meets or exceeds customers requirements.
  • Perform job progress and completion punch lists identification and completion.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Perform on Site Boltdowns and Commissioning of Chargers
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations with flexibility to adapt to various situations.
  • Perform role at multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Manage Project in both Salesforce and Procore including master schedule in MS Project
Your Experience and Capabilities
  • 15+ years of electrical construction experience including hands‑on field construction management required
  • Electrical engineering, estimating or construction background required
  • Electrical Journeyman or higher qualification (or state/province equivalent)*
  • OSHA 30 Card required
  • Maintain forklift and Lull certification
  • ECAP certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • EVITP Certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire
  • Adaptable to the changing dynamics of start‑up business strategy
  • Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills
  • Detail‑oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner)
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Procore, or equivalent software a plus
  • Leadership ability in a high‑performance culture with the ability to build consensus, establish trust, and communicate effectively
  • Extensive experience in scheduling construction at multiple sites at once and managing subcontractors and other vendors
  • Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain one is desirable

*equivalent is 8000 hours of hands on electrical construction experience

Compensation

US Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 USD
