Job summary

Walden Security in Charleston, SC is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee shifts and security officers, ensuring adherence to post orders and client instructions. The role involves walking patrols, post inspections, and coordinating with field supervisors.

You will train new officers, log daily events in the Officers Daily Reports, notify supervisors of urgent issues, and respond to emergencies while maintaining compliance with all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 25 years of age.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR check.
• Have a minimum of 6 months of security officer and supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of all shifts and Security Officers on duty.
• Patrol posts by walking or using a company vehicle where applicable.
• Inspect posts and officers for compliance with Post Orders and Walden Security procedures.
• Inform supervisors and managers of urgent matters that cannot wait.
• Record daily events in Officers Daily Reports (ODR).
• Register at watch stations to log inspection times.
• Assist in on-the-job training for newly assigned Officers.
• Respond to urgent client needs or changes to services.
• Notify authorities of emergencies and post order violations.
• Check doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
• Warn violators and expel those engaging in suspicious activity.
