Healthcare Security Manager - East King County, WA (Washington-Bellevue-Bellingham)
Pay Rate: $80,000 per year
Onsite Role: Bellevue, WA
Note: This is a fully onsite role in Bellevue, WA. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate at their own expense, as this position does not offer relocation assistance.

Job Summary
The SCAL/Hawaii Regional Operations Manager, under the direction of the Director of Operations, SCAL/Hawaii, provides support and leadership for Hawaii and Southern California BCI/AUS healthcare security market locations (14 service areas & $100M+ revenue). This role is responsible for the delivery of quality services, continuity of operations in the absence of local leadership, the administration of physical security operations functions, including client satisfaction drivers and financial performance, customer service, problem resolution, service enhancement and expansion, people management, process improvement & operational effectiveness. In partnership with Human Resources & Learning and Development, responsible for coaching, development, training of security account managers and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Provides operational support to Security Account Managers and support staff in the Washington Markets, to both Blackstone-Consulting and Allied Universal
- Ensures performance of key physical security functions within market locations
- Oversees daily operations at assigned sites through regular meetings, site visits, touchpoints, and customer meetings
- Analyses and reports on client satisfaction, operational and financial metrics/targets to ensure goals are achieved with an eye for process improvement to drive quality and bottom line performance for BCI & our customers
- Prepares reports as required by the Regional Vice President, customer, and BCI leadership
- Establishes goals and manages performance of direct reports, and others through coaching, development, and adherence to BCI''s performance management processes
- In partnership with HR, supports timely resolution of union grievances, leaves, and workers comp related issues
- Participates in client and BCI working groups as requested for local, regional, and national improvement efforts
- Enforces all BCI and client policies and standard operating procedures (SOP) at market sites based on existing circumstances
- Manages communications within markets - ensuring information is communicated in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner to the right people at the right time
- Regularly drives process improvement activities to drive operational efficiencies and financial performance
- Creates strong relationships with customers through regularly scheduled meetings to ensure customer satisfaction, strong relationships, and continuous feedback
- Any other job duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience leading teams, operations, and associated budgets in the healthcare security, or related space (Criminal justice, Business, or Organizational Management). Healthcare Physical Security experience preferred
- Experience managing contract or proprietary security operations, with knowledge of security operations, law enforcement or military police; experience in a healthcare environment preferred; management responsibility in a company of comparable size and complexity, preferred
- Ability to plan, organize and implement administrative and operational programs and procedures, which includes the development of budgets
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen, background investigation and required vaccinations for working in the healthcare environment
- Must have valid Government issued Driver's License
- Possess and maintain a current California guard card

Travel & Work Schedule
- Travel: Up to 70%–80% with some overnight stays; may require prolonged travel for leadership coverage
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Employees work inside the customers' medical centers and medical office buildings. May sit for long periods. Uses company- and client-issued computers.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull items of 70 pounds or more; regularly lift weights of 40–50 pounds on raised surfaces
- Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
