Job summary

FutureJobHub LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a Site Security Automation Lead (SSAL) to serve as the local SME for industrial automation, controls, and OT systems. This is an Engineering and Automation role, not a pure cybersecurity position.

You will lead Allen-Bradley / PlantPAx implementations, manage CapEx projects, and drive digital transformation while ensuring system reliability. Travel is quarterly to Long Island, NY; relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Automation & Controls Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley / PlantPAx.
• Understanding of industrial OT cybersecurity and standards.
• Experience supporting manufacturing/industrial operations and automation infrastructure.

Relocation Assistance Available

We are seeking a Site Security Automation Lead (SSAL) to serve as the local subject matter expert for industrial automation, controls, and OT systems. This is an Engineering and Automation role not a pure cybersecurity position.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support Allen-Bradley / PlantPAx automation and controls systems
• Manage CapEx projects from planning through execution
• Support day-to-day plant operations and ensure system reliability
• Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team
• Partner with the Managed Digital Services (MDS) team on OT cybersecurity activities
• Apply company cybersecurity standards within the plant’s Operational Technology (OT) environment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in Automation & Controls Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley / PlantPAx
• Understanding of industrial OT cybersecurity and cybersecurity standards
• Experience supporting manufacturing/industrial operations and automation infrastructure
• Strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, and project execution skills

Ideal candidate: An experienced Automation/Controls Engineer who understands OT cybersecurity—not a cybersecurity specialist without hands-on industrial automation experience.
